While driving cross country to their new destination we were privileged that they stopped to hang out with us in Kansas City. It was so fun to catch up and be reunited with two of my best friends ever. So many fun times and memories with these two. Sarah, you are an angel to put up with the "P dog", who is now by the way wearing his fashion statement dog tag that reads, "Fighter" (see photo below). What will he come up with next?
As you will see in the second photo below Murphy Kovacs is making the move with his parents. After being in the car for about 9 hours Murphy decided he would make himself right at home in our house. He pranced up the stairs and proceed to eat a cookie off the coffee table then go outside and roll in mud (not once, but twice). Brad and I were humored by Murphy's teenage antics. Brad and Sarah were motified by his behavor. Do they forget that we have a 3 year old???
We did get to head out for some KC BBQ and some cocktails so it turned into a great night. Mark and Kara came along as well to meet these people that I talk about so frequently.
Unfortunately our visit was short as they had to get up the next morning to continue on their journey. We will go and visit them in NYC... soon, I promise. Good Luck back in the madness, Bret and Sarah! We will see you in 4 years when you are driving through to your next destination :)
