Brady's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Brady's 3rd birthday this past weekend with a CARS theme party. Brady had a great time with all his family and friends. Thanks to everyone who came and helped out. A special thanks to Jesse and Steph for letting us borrow their grill, helping us set up and grilling some delicious hamburgers and hot dogs.

Aunt Steph came over and used her domestic expertise to help me make the race car cake. Below is our masterpiece.

Brady loved opening all his presents. All his family and friends were very generous.

Brady was very excited to open a new Vmotion game from Aunt Lori, Uncle Rick and Meredith.

Brady took a break to let Meredith open a few presents from G-Ma for her birthday which is just a week before Brady's.

Happy Birthday Meredith!!!!

Brady, Brad and I went over and celebrated Meredith's 3rd birthday last night. Lori made a nice meal for all of us and then we all sang and sat down for cake. Meredith loved being in the birthday spot light. Brady sat patiently and repeatedly asked when it was his turn for his birthday and presents. He was a good sport and is now anxiously awaiting his party and presents this weekend.

Meredith did great waiting and listening to her happy birthday song and successfully blew out her candle and made her wish on cue.

Unlike Brady, Meredith loves cake and especially the icing.

Meredith's Uncle Bubba was so nice and brought Brady a present that he could open as well. He was so excited to find some new dinosaurs under the wrapping paper. Thanks, Brian for making Brady's night :) He now takes them to bed with him.

Meredith was very generous and shared her presents with Brady.

Spring Clean Up... thanks to Jesse and Steph

Brad and I decided the backyard needed a huge overhaul since we are hosting Brady's 3rd birthday party this weekend. We bribed Jesse and Steph to come over and help with some dinner and beverages. They were a HUGE help and we are thankful for their hard work.

20 trash bags and a huge stack of limbs later we finally enjoyed some drinks and friendly game of horseshoes.


While Jesse was busy with the chain saw cutting up limbs and Steph and I were raking and bagging, Brad was hard at work re-building the horse shoe pits.


He is so proud :)

Here is an old picture of Brady that I found. He is such a big helper in the kitchen these days. We made Aunt Steph a cake for her birthday (which was on March 25th). Even though he does not like cake he loved helping with the baking and putting the icing on.
