Christmas 2008

We hope you are all enjoying this holiday season. As Brady spent this Christmas with his dad we celebrated Christmas with him when he got home. On Sunday night we opened some presents and then on Monday night we went over to have our final Christmas celebration with Aunt Lori and Meredith. Brad and I enjoyed our Christmas up in Michigan with the Teeple family. Thank you to all our family for the many generous gifts we all received.

Brady helps Daddy Brad open his gift from G-Ma Sue. Can never go wrong with anything Adidas in Brad's eyes. He looks forward to wearing his new shorts and hat on the golf course in Florida where he will get beat once again by his new wife :)

Brady received lots of new clothes which is always a good thing as he continues to grow quickly out of the old ones.

Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa Wes sent Brady this train signal piggy bank. He loves putting money in it and watching the signal go off. It is going to be used as his reward for sitting on the potty (thanks to Grandpa Wes for the great idea). We are going to start Potty Boot Camp this weekend. Wish us luck!

Trains seems to be the all time favorite at this point in Brady's life. He was very excited to get a new train set.

Meredith and Brady did very well sharing each others' toys. They continue to be great friends and always have a great time playing together.

G-Ma got Brady a new V-Smile Motion Game. He has already tried it out and is slowing getting the hang of it. He likes his new Thomas the Train game.

Meredith got a nice new Easel from G-Ma. Soon after Brad put it all together for her she was quick to show off her artistic abilities.

Meredith got a new golf set from her daddy for Christmas. The little golfers were excited to practice their new swings.

The night ended with a sword fight... Brad vs. the tenacious two year olds. Brad put up a good fight, but eventually the two year olds over took him.

Christmas Trains

Lori, Meredith, Brady and I bundled up and took a trip down to Union Station to walk through the Holiday Express train. There were three train cars to walk through. Santa and Mrs. Clause were waiting for us in the first train. Brady was not enthused to see him as his fear of Santa continues. There is definitely no sitting on Santa's lap this year... Maybe next year. The next two cars consisted of train displays and lots of Santa figurines. Next we went inside Union Station to look at the great big train display. Our next stop took us over to Crown Center where we ate dinner at Fritz's. At Fritz's there were even more trains and our food even was delivered by a train! Brady and Meredith sported their train engineer hats and were highly entertained by all that was going on. What a fun full day of trains we had. Brady was in CHOO CHOO heaven. He was so sad to have to leave all the trains.

Cookie Party

Lori and Meredith invited Brady and I to a cookie decorating party at Julie's house. We had a great time making lots of yummy cookies. Brady and Meredith did a great job and had so much fun playing with all the other kids as well.

Wedding Bliss- Sandals Negril

On December 3rd we started our journey to the Sandals Resort in Negril, Jamaica and on December 5th I became Mrs. Brad Teeple! We were so blessed to have 8 of our very close family and friends join us and participate in our wedding. We want to thank our parents for being so supportive throughout the whole process. We could not have done it without you all. We appreciate all you have done for us. Thank you to Jesse and Steph for standing up with us. We are so happy to have you in Kansas City- many more fun times to come. We can not thank Kara and Mark enough for making the trip and doing an amazing job as our photographers. Your generosity is overwhelming. We wish you both so much love and happiness on your upcoming wedding. And lastly we want to thank Kitty for her great friendship and traveling with Mom. We love you all!

On the second night one of the air conditioners broke in our one bedroom loft suite and we were so excited to learn that we were going to be upgraded to the swim up river suites for the rest of our stay. It was a great way to spend the rest of our vacation
We enjoyed many activities at the resort including snorkeling, tubing, water skiing, kayaking and best of all laying on the beautiful beach sipping on Jamaican cocktails. Ping Pong became a daily event and I finally managed to beat Brad at a game or two.

On the way from the airport to the resort we met two couples that were celebrating their honeymoons as well. Joe and Shannon from Wisconsin and Dave and Carrie from New Jersey. We had a blast getting to know all of them. We all decided to take an excursion to the world famous Rick's Cafe Bar and Grill. We took a catamaran boat to the bar where we had to jump the boat and swim over to the bar. Once there the views were spectacular and jumping from the 35 foot cliff into the water was exhilarating.

After 9 days of fun in the sun we were ready to come home were happy to see Brady. Getting back to reality definitely took some time, but the memories will be with us forever.
We will share more wedding pictures once we get them all organized!

Movie Time

We took Brady to his first movie this past weekend. He loved eating the popcorn and drinking his sprite. He did very well and we all enjoyed watching Madagascar 2.
